From New
York City:
The Tanger Center is located approximately 80 miles
east of NYC or 1 hour 10 minutes driving time. Take
the Queens Midtown Tunnel to 495 East which is the
Long Island Expressway. Take the Long Island Expressway
to the last exit, exit 73 is a direct entrance to
the Tanger I parking lot.
Public
Transit
Public Transportation directly to our Center is available
via hamptonjitney. Deluxe Motorcoach service roundtrip
from Manhattan is available daily. Reservations can
be made up to 3 weeks in advance at www.hamptonjitney.com
or call 1-800-936-0440. Hampton Jitney can also handle
private group charter reservations. Group charters
are highly recommended for groups of 10 or more during
peak season May-September.

Brooklyn:
From Brooklyn-Belt Parkway East to Southern State
Parkway East to the end, follow Sagitkos Parkway north
to the Long Island Expressway East (495) to Exit 73
(approximately 90 minutes from Verrazano Narrows Bridge)
From Queens:
From Throgs Neck Bridge, Exit to Cross Island Parkway
East to Long Island Expressway East (495) to Exit
73 (last exit) From Bronx Whitestone Bridge-Grand
Central Parkway East to Long Island Expressway East
(495) to Exit 73 (Driving time: Approximately 80 minutes

County:

Shore Nassau/Suffolk County:
Southern State Parkway east to end, follow Sagitkos

to Exit 73. Driving time: approximately 40-50 minutes.
From Westhampton:
Riverhead Road North to end, bear left at fork to
Route 104 North to Traffic Circle in Riverhead. Exit
Traffic cicle onto Peconic Avenue (follow Aquarium
signs) At first light, take left onto West Main Street,
continue 3 1/2 miles east to Tanger South Entrance
on RT 25 (W Main Street)Driving time: approximately
15 minutes.
From South
Fork-Southampton -Montaulk:
Sunrise Highway-West to exit 643, Route 104 North
to end at Traffic Circle. Exit Traffic circle onto
Peconic Ave. (follow Aquarium signs) to first traffic
light. Take left at light onto west Main Street, continue
3 1/2 miles east to Tanger South Entrance at Rt25
(W Main Street)Driving time: approximately 20-40 minutes.
From North
Fork-Jamesport-Orient:
Follow Rt 25 West to Riverhead. Tanger South Entrance
is 3 1/2 miles west of downtown Riverhead. Driving
time: approximately 10-30 minutes.
